Description: Fluorite and Phenakite on Phlogopite Birch Creek area, Inyo County, California, USA 87.0 x 59.0 x 50.0 mm Purple octahedrons of Fluorite to 24 mm, accented by white Phenakite crystals to 6 mm, are nestled in green Phlogopite, providing a striking contrast. This interesting and attractive specimen was collected in the summer of 2011 by Chris Lehmann.
