Description: Wulfenite on Quartz M'fouati, M'fouati District, Bouenza Region, Republic of the Congo (Brazzaville) 98.0 x 60.0 x 56.0 mm A thick, orange-red tabular crystal of Wulfenite measuring 14 x 4 mm is nestled in a pocket of sharp, clear, lustrous Quartz crystals to 7 mm. Several small Quartz crystals are perched on the Wulfenite, as are what seems to be pale yellow Cerussite crystals. These specimens were produced in the 1960s or earlier, and this is a particularly fine example. No damage.
