Description: Cassiterite on Muscovite with Beryl and Topaz Mt. Xuebaoding, Pingwu County, Mianyang Prefecture, Sichuan Province, China 106.0 x 70.0 x 39.0 mm overall Multiple, highly lustrous black Cassiterite crystals are nestled within a matrix of Muscovite blades to 13 mm forming rosettes. Cassiterite is present as both twinned crystals to 32 x 32 x 25 mm and untwinned crystals to 10 mm. Several clear, lustrous Beryl (v. Goshenite) crystals provide an accent. A small sherry-colored Topaz to 7 mm is nestled within one of the Muscovite rosettes; topaz are rare from this locality.
