Description: And finally one of the most notable examples of the past mining of Ste Marie. In the "Maison de maître" a sixteenth-century house for the senior officials of the mine, now "Pharmacie de la Tour" located in the Keufer Square, you can see a large block of argentiferous Galena (quite meteorized by the pass of the time) encrusted in the wall of the "Maison de maître". It symbolizes very well the importance of mining and minerals in this beautiful town of the Val d'Argent.
