Description: The Adelaide Mine is located within the Dundas Mineral Field and lies about one mile (1.6 km) SE of the old Dundas township. The first recording of a lease for the property occurred in 1890. Workings have been developed both as vertical shafts up to nearly 300 feet in depth, and as horizontal drifts, within an iron-manganese gossan.
The mine is privately held and is not open to collectors.
