As can be seen when comparing the first pocket photograph, the three original openings into what mine owner Adam Wright later named the Lower Red River Pocket, quickly changed as the two lowest pockets merged into a single cavernous crocoite crystal chamber. This photo shows the open pocket at over 3 feet (1 meter) tall and looking back, the view goes in about 9 feet (3 meters) here!
