Description: Quartz Ben Loyal, Sutherland, Scotland, UK 43mm tall x 35mm x 25mm Quartz crystal with partially included Amazonite (microcline) crystal pieces to 15mm. There is a second generation of quartz 1-2mm thickness partially covering the specimen, more lustrous and transparent than the main crystal. From same locality as the amazonite specimen in previous picture. The microcline feldspar is greener than the photo shows.
