Description: Third or fourth year of exposure. The geode is about 4.5 meters up on the high wall. Note the splitting and fracturing of the surrounding dolostone matrix. These larger pieces can inflict serious injuries should they fall as you collect. The next year or so the geode fell as multiple small pieces; unfortunately, it was never collected intact.
