Mineral: Dolomite after calcite
Locality: Cavnic mining area, Cavnic, Maramures, Romania
Dimensions: 6.0 x 8.5 x 11.0 cm

Description: Pale pink dolomite replacing calcite crystals. The pseudomorphs are tubular to conical in shape and have hollow terminations. This piece was collected circa 1965 from a small pocket that yielded only 3 specimens. A very unusual specimen from the district.
