Description: Lustrous, light blue, blocky celestine crystals. Prior to the opening of the Annabel Lee mine, celestine was a very uncommon mineral in the district, having been recorded from only 3 mines. The Annabel Lee Mine opened in 1984 and the following year there was a significant find of celestine on the Sub-Rosiclare level.
