Hi, Jordan, welcome to FMF Collector's section.

Please before posting more specimens from your collection read carefully:
Style Guide for the Collection threads.

And look at the changes we have made in your labels to write them that way from now.

Please give me the dimensions of the first specimen so that I can add them.

Thank you!

The size of the first specimen is 3 in. x 31\2 in. I would have pm you but it says I can't send one until after 10 days of my account being active. Thank you for the link in regards to proper labeling of collection photos.

Thank you, Jordan. That's right, you can't write new PM until ten days' time, but you can always answer your received PM.

Aragonite in quartz. I hope I can find more of this; it actually came out of a golfball sized geode.

Wonderful specimens Jordan, I rarely see Tennessee specimens that are not from the Elmwood Mine.

I believe your "mesolite" is actually aragonite though. Mesolites are typically found in basalts.

Thank you for your comment Jamison, though I would love one of those huge doubly terminated pieces of calcite from the Elmwood mine. Calcite is one of my favorites. I have a lot more pieces I'll be posting soon. Also, I appreciate the correction on the "Mesolite" Aragonite specimen. You learn something new everyday and that's just the way I like it.
