Bunker Hill Mine, Bunker Hill properties, Kellogg, Coeur d'Alene District, Shoshone County, Idaho, USA
Roughly 4 x 2.5 cm
Another great specimen, very impressive, well-defined "mass" of pyromorphite from one of the most desired localities. I love the different colours on that specimen that change from dark yellow to brown. And though you never mentioned that you love pyromorphite, it becomes obvious when you show specimens like that ;-)

I hope so! I like pyromorphites from all localities, so not only Bunker Hill specimens are welcome ... and not only pyromorphites :-)

Sweet specimen!

If the specimen has a SHM number on the bottom, you can contact Steve or Richard at Collector's Edge, and they should be able to tell you pocket name and date extracted.

I don't know for sure, but the so-called "Steve's Pocket" had a lot of combinations where the wonderful rhodos were associated with sulfide minerals and purple fluorite ...

By the way, VERY NICE SPECIMEN!!!
