One of the finest mineral artists of our day died on Friday, November 11th. Eberhard Equit's work was unparalleled in the art of illustrating minerals. I met him at the Munich Show when i was the featured artist there in the late 1990s. He was so nice and such a great talent.

My deepest condolences to his wife and family,
