In Bulgaria also there are very beautiful calcites. This is my recent find - calcite druse and single crystals. They are from Sliven, but the most interesting crystals are found in the Eastern Rhodopes and Burgas.

Another one of my many "favorite" calcites. Self collected about 2004.

 Locality:
Monroe County, Indiana, USA
 Dimensions: geode is 9 cm. the calcite is 6 cm.
 Description:
Pink calcite on blue chalcedony
As above. The pink calcite is a complexly hoppered rhombohedral crystal with 3 distinct terminations

And now for your pleasure here is another complexly hoppered rhombohedral calcite that is also double terminated.

Keokuk, Lee County, Iowa, USA
 Dimensions: geode is 6.3 cm the double terminated calcite is 3.2 cm.
 Description:
Pink rhombohedral calcite on small clear calcites and brown pseudocubic calcite
This geode with the complex double terminated calcite was acquired by me about 2009.
