Wonderful fluorite specimens Mike. Your La Paz County specimen is most likely from the Heson Mine. It was known for producing both cubic and octahedral fluorites.
The information on the locality was recently published in the May/June 2017 edition of Rocks and Minerals,

Thanks for the information Jamison. |
Added the Heson Mine in your photo https://www.mineral-forum.com/message-board/download.php?id=81568
BTW, someone here knows the Johnson Fluorite Mine on Albuquerque? ( https://www.mineral-forum.com/message-board/download.php?id=81618 )
I assume that is "Manzano Mts" not "Monzano Mts" but I can't find any official reference of this mine in Manzano Mts neither in Albuquerque...
Thanks in advance

Hi Jordi and Mike,
I have never heard of the Johnson Fluorite mine. The specimen looks similar to fluorite either from the Galena King mine or the Frustration mine in the Manzano Mountains. My opinion would be that it's from the Galena King mine based on color and morphology. The Frustration mine produced similar looking specimens, but the color is usually closer to emerald green or seafoam green.
There is a photo on Mindat from the Galena King mine that is nearly identical to the one Mike has.

I agree Philip, thanks.
Am, I already changed the caption to the Galena King Mine ( https://www.mineral-forum.com/message-board/download.php?id=81618 )
Please let me know if you disagree.
