Probably collected 100 years ago. This piece came out of George Feist's collection. He lived on Long Island, New York and collected Midwest minerals over 50 years or so. He passed away in 2007.

Very little online about this mine other than it started in 1899 and was capped as part of the superfund for dangerous mines.
