Love it Kevin.

I have some where there are calcite or aragonite crystals within the fossil 'pockets', so they do make it across the rock-mineral divide.

Some fossils are great mineral specimens too! If anyone has one of those emerald snails from Colombia, or opal pine cones from Australia, and wants to throw it away because it's a fossil, I'll be happy to remove that offensive material from your property ;))

Thank you to the overall coordinator for being so cordial. I promise i will not post anymore anything on your precious forum. Thank you for taking a lifelong hobby of mine and making me feel like a jackass. Not once but twice. It didnt warn me that you had to have a doctorate in geology before you could ask a question. For everyone else who took the time to answer my question thank you very much. Jordi I apologize for wasting your time
