Hi Tobi.
Thank you for your post. Nice to see you here.
I found the smoky quartz during my last holiday in 2021 and fell in love with it.
I appreciate you wasting time writing me.
Regards.
Hi Firmo, you "found" the specimen? I guess this means you bought it - or was this a self-find?! ;-)
P.S. It's never a waste of time to browse and comment our member's mineral galleries!

Hi Tobi.

You´re right in both sentences.

I´ve said “found” because it was a last minute find one night on the seafront of a Mediterranean coastal town, where an unexpected dealer was selling minerals from Morocco and Brazil.

And, of course, is always interesting to know more details about our minerals.

Regards.

I like that effect that you use on your photos recently, Firmo, all of your specimens are real floaters now ;-)

But really: Like me, you made a huge progress in your photography during the last years, congratulations!

Hi Tobi.

As The Jackson Five sang in 1978 about the boogie:

Don´t blame it on the sunshine,
Don´t blame it on the moonlight,
Don´t on the good times,
Blame it on the Covid.

House confinement in 2020 due to the Covid-19, allowed me to spend time to investigate some software like Photopea (online free photo editor) and later trying with Photoshop.
Then it’s more affordable to face the software and go looking for effects.

And finally, we have teachers here who show us the way to get really quality photos.

Thank you for your post.
