This is a piece I bought recently and thought I'd add to the Tennessee thread. The matrix is coated with tiny calcites and large and small sphalerites all around. You can't see from this angle, but on the underside are a few cubes of galena. Excuse my poor photography.

Fluorite and sphalerite on dolomite. Note that the main fluorite crystal contains a sphalerite crystal inside. Overall size: 90 mm x 60 mm x 52 mm. Main fluorite crystal edge: 16 mm. Weight: 199 g. Ex Dr. Steve Neely collection.

This came out of the Elmwood Mine in Spring of 2017. I am informed all three mines are operating and specimens are being found.
