PostPosted: Jan 21, 2008 06:47    Post subject: Mineralogical Record, an excellent magazine.

Since it was founded by John S. White in 1970, The Mineralogical Record magazine has been a referent for the mineralogists worldwide. Its commitment to the divulgation of the Mineralogy has joined the scientific mineralogy with the amateur world.
Wendell Wilson & Thomas P. Moore, with the help of several external collaborators, have been able to maintain the magazine mineralogical scientific level throughout all this years.
Also at the MINREC website, you could find a great deal of information continuously updated where you could find last mineral news, opinion and topics that appear in the Mineralogists “Galaxy”.

“What’s New in the Mineral World?”, with this title Thomas P. Moore publish in the MINREC website many interesting notes about mineral news around the world, like for example a recent note referred the specimens of Hematite and Rutile pseudomorph after Ilmenite, from Zambia.
