The latest issue of le Règne Minéral is available. We publish a complete report about the 2011 munich show with many photographies of the european classic exhibition. There is also an article about a new find of crichtonite in french alpes, etc. Enjoy !

PostPosted: Dec 08, 2011 08:04    Post subject: Re: Le Règne Minéral 102 - Erythrite

It happens that the specimen of erythrite, excellent by all criteria, published in the cover of the Le Règne Minéral issue above is now in the collection of our forum fellow Joan Massagué.

The erythrite is from, you guessed it, Bou Azzer, Morocco, its overall size being 55 mm x 45 mm x 30 mm, and undamaged. The doubly terminated crystals measure up to 24 mm long.

Congratulations, Joan!

Carles,
What a pleasant surprise to have this piece on the cover of LRM, and you highlighting it for FMF. Thank you.
Joan

Carles, Jim,
I recognize this is not the right thread for such things at FMF, but while we are at it, for your interest here are other angles of the same specimen. There are two full doubly terminated crystals on this piece, as you can see.
Joan

Is that new specimen? Looks like from this small find this year in Taouruni mine.
One of the best from this find what I saw. Congrats!
