Gail, thank you very much for all the beautiful pictures of minerals and mineral people. I really enjoyed to watch them.
But i am really surprised by the high prices of most minerals at the show. I must admit, they are very nice, but it's not very normal anymore.. i hope this part of mineral collecting stays in the USA ;-)

Oh, and I will always remember Jordi covered with name cards, that was very funny :-)

Hi Gail! I saw all of your photos (by purpose: please remember me to Terry, Mary and Van if you see them again!!!), and I'm waiting for your new report then!

Sorry everyone, I was dealing with my father's passing and didn't make the Houston stow.
Having lost my Mother in July and then my Dad last week, in May, it was a long tough time for me and my family, but they are together again, at least we like to think so.
I expect you will be seeing more of me again, for better or worse, as Jim and I are over 6,000 minerals and going strong.
We are signed up for the Mindat Conference as well, so will be heading to Morocco later this year.

Welcome back Gail. Hopefully the fun you usually share in FMF could help you a little bit to pass sooner those sad times.

Gail,
There are no words to comment your painful state now. It should be terrible to lose both of your parents in so short a time, even if they might have been old people (but a parent is never too old to die, even at 110 or 120!). Thanks God I still have both of my parents alive and healthy, but who knows for HOW much time yet? Now they are 74 and 72, I hope I will try your sad experience as late as possible.
Hugs and kisses from Italy by Riccardo.

It is your third "Golden Star" Gail. This is outstanding, congratulations! (again ;-)

There is a certain satisfaction to that Jordi, thank you!
