The name of the acronym FMF was never a "real" name (see: Forum's name), so John, Peter and I decided that it is the time to baptize this Forum with a "real name" and we decided to use:

Friends of Minerals Forum

This name it is already visible in the Index page as well as in all routings for searchers, so welcome to:

Indeed i never thought about what "FMF" could mean. I saw a lot of nice and funny meanings in the old thread, but Friends of Minerals Forum is really a good choice!

P.S. I want a shirt, too ;-)

Hi to everybody!
Yes, it sounds very nice! Or, it might also be the contrary: FORUM of MINERAL FRIENDS! And, by curiosity, what is the Spanish name of this acronym?

Well, my Master John S. White said: "Friends of Minerals Forum" and as everybody knows, his thoughts are like orders for me! ;-)

I actually thought the same as Tobias, since there is a text area, the first four words are: I created this forum. And the name under the text is Jordi Fabre, so...?

Correct, I "created this forum", but with the intention that was not My Forum, but the Everybody's Forum! ;-)
