I remember long ago someone mentioning which software they use so they can overlap pictures with other pictures. This creates a macro image of a mineral while having the whole mineral in focus by overlapping several photos of the mineral with varying focus when photographed from a microscope. I had just recently acquired a good microscope for viewing micro minerals and am in the process of getting a camera for it as well. All I would need to finish off this project is the get the photo editing software to create good looking macro photos. Thank you.
