Hi Pierre and Riana, your Tsumeb specimens are very nice, and your photography is very good. I really like the cobaltoan smithsonite specimen and the mottramite on/in calcite, and the larger azurite combinations - very pretty.

Best regards,

Mike

Hi Mike. Thank you for the compliment. We are very fortunate to have obtained these. I also think the Smithsonite is stunning. Regards.

A wonderful selection of South African and Namibian minerals, Pierre, I really enjoy your collection! That pink botryoidal stuff on the Riemvasmaak specimen is fluorite??? Never seen that before, I only know the ubiquitous green octahedrons from that locality ...

Hi Tobi, thank you for your interest. The Northern Cape pegmatites are of the most under rated mineral localities on earth. I think lots of surprises will still surface from there in years to come. Here is another one of those fluorites. Regards.

Hi Pierre and Riana,

A very nice selection of specimens you have there. The clear quartz crystal is interesting, but when you say it has inverted crystals do you mean it has included crystals (they look like inclusions of quartz crystals in a quartz crystal)? Very nice though. I agree Reimvasmaak has further great potential, some wonderful specimens have come from there!

Regards, Mike

Very nice included quartz, but I'm a sucker for quartz anyway. The one with the, what I would call, negative crystal inclusions is particularly interesting. Was that one field collected by you?
Great postings, Pierre and Riana, thanks.

Hi Mike and Vic. Thank you very much for your comments! I will continue this fascinating topic of inverted crystals on 'Oddities from Branberg'. No, I did not collect this crystal myself.

Hi Mike. Thank you. I am starting to wonder if there is a colour that they do not come in. Best regards.

Sorry Am, I nearly missed your comment! Thank you very much.
