PostPosted: Apr 01, 2014 06:03    Post subject: Merging two different sections in order to organize better FMF

From the beginning we had, in FMF, two sections that were almost the same: Minerals and Mineralogy and Questions about mineral specimens which created frequent confusion, especially to the beginners that many times published their first post asking about the rocks they found in Questions about mineral specimens due the description of this section:

"In this forum you're able to place your questions or answers to other user's questions related to mineral specimens."

After a lot of thinking we decided that instead of modifying the description of this section it makes more sense merge this section into Minerals and Mineralogy and avoid with this change mistakes and make FMF more comprehensible.

So, just to clarify, from now on the section Questions about mineral specimens is no longer part of FMF, and all its threads and posts are now in the section Minerals and Mineralogy, so if in the past you published something in Questions about mineral specimens you will now find it in Minerals and Mineralogy.
