I have noticed that my posts are sometimes not coming out right. I am a mediocre speller and an atrocious typist, so I usually check my posts before entering them. But it will look perfectly correct then, when I send it to the board, it is changed. It looks like something from Google Translate, with word order changed, weird capitalization...once I said it was a shame Kyo Sakamoto died, and it kept saying it was a shame I died. When I try to edit the post, it looks alright in the edit box. When I quote it, it looks OK there too. But when it shows up on the forum, it is still wrong.
What should I do?

Hi, Tom.

Can you write the link to one of those strange posts?

Tom, Pablo,
It seems that something must be retranslating the posts, after they have already been posted, when you go to view them. Because I looked at the post you linked in your reply, and it all reads correctly as it is displayed for me on the Friends Forum page; "A shame how he died." When you go back to read it, that is where the "translation errors" must be taking place--something about your own software by which you read the Forum, perhaps? Good luck with this!

I suspect you probably have Google translate on in your browser, or some other addon for your browser.

Thank you...I had tried the Google Translate at the top left and it had been left on.
That is a relief!
