April 30 & May 1. Topsfield Fairgrounds, Rt. 1 North, Topsfield, MA. This is a well known and well attended club show on the East Coast! Hosted by the North Shore Rock & Mineral Club. Wholesale and retail dealers: minerals, fossils, beads, gems, jewelry and much more! Activities include gold panning, geode cracking, mineral sifting. Hourly door prizes and over 14 exhibits.
Free parking. Admission $6.00. https://www.northshorerock.org for more information. If you are in the area it is a wonderful show to attend!

I'm hoping to attend. Have never been to a mineral show before, though. Not sure how it will go!

My boyfriend and I went to this show. First, the place was PACKED. Both of us totally forgot that some people interested in minerals are into mysticism, etc. Those people were... well... "interesting"...

I was overwhelmed. SO much to look at. Had I been there alone, I'd have "seen" more. I saw some very nice specimens. I was disappointed at the lack of New England material, though I did find some nice little items way beyond my non-existent budget.

Was nice to see some minerals in person that I had admired in photos.

I ended up buying three simple specimens, SODALITE, KYANITE, and CELESTITE. As you can see from my photo, there is a running similarity... COLOR!
