Ah, maybe Tsumeb?? especially from the 1972 gem pocket?

and, for variety of habit, the Rowley Mine in AZ is the best (i posted a wulf/mim photo on the Wulfenite thread).

Additional information:

I changed the name of the topic from "Favourite Mimetite localities" to "Favourite Mimetites". So everyone can feel free not only to discuss his/her favourite localities but also which colours and forms of that mineral he/she likes the most, e.g. elongated or thick crystals, red or orange or yellow, well-defined crystals or botryoidal forms etc. ...

I collected this specimen in 1969 on my second underground trip. This was a really good day.

Another localitiy / specimen which is a favourite of mine is Level 2 of the Elura Mine in Cobar, New South Wales, Australia. These Mimetites are usually greenish with relatively large crystals which look like Pyromorphite at first glance.
