Dear Colleagues and Geologists,

Is there lignite/brown coal in Stringtown, OK? If yes, what is the geological era/age of the coal? Thanks in advance.

Lots of bituminous coal in that county, but no lignite that I know of. Mid- to late Pennsylvanian age.
