PostPosted: Nov 15, 2016 07:10    Post subject: Passing of Eberhard Equit

One of the finest mineral artists of our day died on Friday, November 11th. Eberhard Equit's work was unparalleled in the art of illustrating minerals. I met him at the Munich Show when i was the featured artist there in the late 1990s. He was so nice and such a great talent.

My deepest condolences to his wife and family,
Susan Robinson

He was all kindness and gentleness and he was a great artist.

Rest in peace Eberhard, you leave us your art.

As an slight homage I copy below the text related with the BlueCap Productions Pro video: Eberhard Equit: An Intimate Talk

Eberhard Equit is the finest mineral artist in the world. His incredible paintings capture the true essence of the mineral specimens and often reveal details previously unnoticed.
