Looks like it's probably quartz, but it's very difficult for anyone to give you an accurate ID without additional information like locality (where did you find it), hardness (can you scratch it with your fingernail? a copper penny? a steel nail? etc...), density, cleavage (how the crystals fracture), etc...

The more information you can provide, the more accurate of an ID you will get, and there are several basic tests that anyone can easily do without any special equipment or training, so I suggest that you take a look at the post in the beginners forum titled 'Asking: "What is this? / Where is it from?"'

Thanks. I did some tests and the hardness is 4 and it was found in a canyon in Tunisia in North Africa.

Now that you have done a hardness test, try doing an acid test. A drop of vinegar placed on an inconspicuous spot should cause the formation of small bubbles if it is a carbonate. If the acid test is positive, it is probably calcite.

I tested it with acid and it reacts with vinegar so it is calcite?

Yes, that is the most likely.

Soak it in soapy water, scrub with a soft brush, and rinse in clean water. If you have access to a high pressure water gun (like the ones used to remove stains from clothing), you could use that. Be careful to start at a low pressure since the specimen is soft. I wouldn't necessarily expect a dramatic change in it's appearance.
