PostPosted: May 06, 2017 14:07    Post subject: Smokey quartz location?

Hey All,

New to the forums so nice to meet you all.

Recently got this piece for my collection at a local antiques store, never had a piece of smokey quartz so got excited.

Anyway is there a way to tell the locality of this piece by its qualities? I assume this is going to be an awkward question due to the shear number of locations it can be found.

Thanks,

Lueshie.

It looks as a typical Arkansas irradiated quartz.
