The one on the left is aragonite from Tazouta, Sefrou, Sefrou Province, Fès-Meknès Region, Morocco. Go to mindat.com and put Tazouta in the search box. From there you can learn not only about where this material comes from but also about aragonite.

The one on the right is a piece of aqua aura quartz. From the interwebs, "aqua aura is created in a vacuum chamber from quartz crystals and gold vapour by vapour deposition. The quartz is heated to 871 °C (1600 °F) in a vacuum, and then gold vapor is added to the chamber. The gold atoms fuse to the crystal's surface, which gives the crystal an iridescent metallic sheen." The quartz could have come from anywhere.
