This is from Central Indiana. It is kind of rough on one side but smooth green on the other side. Any ideas or do you want to know any other info?

Being from Indiana, I think your (not so good) photo shows slag glass. I favor man created and not natural. BOB

Here is the back of it. I know nothing about rocks btw, but there were tons of these in the field. My mother in law grabbed about 20 or so and gave one for me to post online, lol.

Yes indeed, slag glass (or "glassy slag", if you prefer), leftovers from some kind of industrial smelting operation.
