As I was hiking in the Scottish Highlands - Glencoe to be specific. I came across some quartz and as I broke it up with a larger rock, the dark green mineral was revealed and I am curious to know what it might be.
Can anyone help me to identify it?

| Looks like epidote to me as well, and it's found in that area too

| Epidote for sure. The pink variety, withamite, can also be found in Glencoe.

That's a pretty nice epidote spray, for something bashed open on a hike with another rock! High tech collecting!
