When I searched to buy a nice quartz crystal for my friend valentine's gift a seller suggested this to me, "this is romantic Quartz" seller said.
But it wasn't quartz. It wasn’t Gypsum either, because of hardness more than Calcite.
Can somebody help me?

As you suggest, there is no such thing as "romantic" quartz.

Rather than trying to establish whether this dealer is trying to sell you fakes, I would just go elsewhere. Perhaps some other dealer can convince you that what they are selling is real.

I think Matt already said the most important thing:
Do not buy rocks from people who praise their stuff with attributes such as romantic, spiritual, healing, magical etc., this is an impostor with a high price level.
Better search for a rock & mineral dealer who offers natural stuff for collectors. There you will find for sure a beautiful quartz crystal. Maybe not a "romantic" one, but it will be quartz.
