Hi, Tobias

The some brownish feldspar matrix in AquaX.JPG (beryl from Erongo) is indeed corroded microcline. Do you want me to add this detail?

And what's the size of WestForkBLEIGLANZ.JPG (galena from West Fork Mine)?

Carles, thanks for adding the missing info!

Next specimen shows a calcite from Missouri. A pale yellow scalenohedron on sulfidic matrix that also features a small 5 mm galena cube. Looks like Sweetwater Mine at first sight, but comes from the less known Buick Mine:

An interesting specimen of galena from Dal'Negorsk, Russia: A massive galena crystal with another one attached; the surface of the main crystal shows a bizarre texture, maybe growth structures?

A question related to this specimen: Any idea which of the several mines in Dal'Negorsk could be the origin of those galenas? Or did they occur everywhere in that far-eastern locality?

Cheers!
Tobi
