Mineral: Galena, Sphalerite
Locality: Lafatsch, Karwendel Mountains, Innsbruck-Land District, North Tyrol, Tyrol/Tirol, Austria
Dimensions: 1,7 x 1,5 cm

Description: Crystallized Galena from Lafatsch has not been mentioned in the literature up to now. Largest crystal 1 cm on edge. Mainly octahedrons (partly distorted, growth inhibited) with small cube faces have been enclosed in coarse Calcite (removed by acid treatment).
