Description: Mass: 417 g MIM number:1821 Nicknamed "Deconstruction" by the mim. Intact group of azurite crystals of azurite on a thin gray matrix with a little fibrous pseudomorphosed green malachite at the base. The architecture is reminiscent of modern decontructivism. The crystals have a beautiful metallic and chatoyant blue color resulting from interference phenomena between the underlying azurite, the thin layer of malachite which has formed on it, and a thin layer of azurite which has later formed on the latter.
