Description: Black tabular crystals of dingdaohengite-(Ce) (to 15 mm) perched on a tan-colored, blocky crystal of k-feldspar with perthitic exsolution lamellae, and associated with black, long-prismatic aegirine. The feldspar is overgrown by transparent crystals of quartz (var. smoky). Other associated minerals include brown, altered crystals of a pyrochlore-group mineral (?), and yellow zircon. From a small pocket discovered some years ago, which yielded the best specimens known for dingdaohengite-(Ce).
