Locality: Eveslogchorr Mountain, Khibiny Massif, Kola Peninsula, Murmanskaja Oblast, Northern Region, Russia
Dimensions: 40 x 30 x 25 mm
Description: Purple, tabular single crystal of wadeite with black aegirine and brown fibers of astrophyllite. Wadeite is one of the few cyclosilicates with threefold silicate rings - the most prominent one being benitoite. ID by Raman spectroscopy.
