Mineral: Quartz (varieties smoky and scepter)
Locality: Petersen Mountain, Hallelujah Junction area, Washoe County, Nevada, USA
Dimensions: 22.5 x 17 x 30 cm / main crystal: 29 cm

Description: Mass: 2555 g MIM number: 2213 Large, perfectly formed and intact scepter quartz, with translucent creamy white upper part and black stalk (also translucent under strong light and dark amber in color). This crystal grew perpendicularly on a plate along with another lying scepter quartz, similar but smaller, as well as several normal black crystals. In fact, close examination shows that the terminations of these crystals are cream-white colored scepters primers.
