Locality: Larak Island, Qeshm County, Hormozgan Province, Iran

Two large well-formed tetrahedral crystals of earth-colored zunyite (4 cm and 3 cm on edge respectively), developed on top of a mound of hematite microcrystals providing excellent contrast. These are among the largest crystals known for this species; moreover they are on matrix whereas they are mostly found isolated.
