Locality: Pein-Pyit, Mogok Township, Pyin-Oo-Lwin District, Mandalay Region (Mandalay Division), Myanmar (Burma)
Dimensions: 2.6 × 2.4 × 1.8 cm

Description: The Myanmar spinels are well known for their quality, color and transparency. We have seen quite a few specimens, and very rarely, we come across twinned spinels. In this case, the twin is very clear, and its form is very well-defined.
