Mineral: Valentinite with Pyrite
Locality: San José Mine, Oruro City, Cercado Province, Oruro Department, Bolivia
Dimensions: 2.8 × 2.2 × 2 cm

Description: Fanlike growth of flat, parallel crystals on a small matrix with Pyrite. The Valentinite crystals have a considerable size for the species and are translucent, with a silky luster on the prism faces and a more vitreous luster on the terminations. The sample comes from Alfredo Petrov.
