Two large, black adjacent crystals of maximum size 15.8 cm and 11.9 cm respectively. The faces are smooth and shiny and the crystals intact. The gangue on which they are found is sprinkled with small black epidote crystals and small, pale green balls of prehnite. The smaller of the two crystals is rather isometric; the larger one is more elongated. Three small, well formed crystals of andradite are on both sides of the matrix.
