Mineral: Béhierite with Tourmaline (Group)
Locality: Ampanodiana pegmatites, Tetezantsio-Andoabatokely pegmatite field, Andrembesoa , Betafo District, Vakinankaratra Region, Madagascar

Description: Mass: 26 g MIM number: 1321 Floating set of two beige crystals, including one large very well formed and sharp-edged, with traces of pink tourmaline. Considering the healthy state of the crystal surface and the types of faces which constitute them, it is likely that the crystals formed freely in a geode big enough to enable them to develop without contact (as opposed to the narrow fissures in which behierites are generally found in Madagascar).
