Description: Fluorite. Cook's Peak, Luna County, New Mexico. 5.5 X 3.0 cm. Acquired from Dick Jones in 1980. These things were abundant in the 80's, not so much today. This is a special specimen because it indicates there was a change in the temperature of the ore-forming solutions.
