Description: Fluorapophyllite Creag na Cuail, Duirinish, Isle of Skye, Scotland, UK Crystals to 19 mm x 8 mm Apophyllite crystals to 19mm x 8mm, with fine, glassy pyramidal terminations. Interesting brownish zoning in the bottom half of the crystal. The backdrop is composed of many fresh small <2mm chabazite crystals. The specimen has been trimmed since this photo was taken - I'll try and do another sometime. Self-collected 2004 from Creag na Cuail, Duirinish, Isle of Skye.
